What is blended Learning?
Blended Learning, also known as hybrid concept, began in the early 1840’s. Today it is used all over the world for advanced entry and pathway programs into global universities. It is a combination of both in-house/classroom and online, where it facilitates the benefits and flexibility of learning at your own time/pace along with traditional face-to-face learning. It leverages technology with in person guidance.
Advantages of Blended Learning:
- Students can learn at their own pace with online materials. It’s less time consuming as they can breeze through topics they understand easily and work more efficiently on the topics that they find interesting and demand more research.
- Students can easily go back to materials they need to focus on as it is online.
- Students can use the classroom time more effectively for meaningful interactions and presentations with guidance from in-house experts.
- Students have more time to balance and experience real life situations in study / work environment
How does Blended Learning work?
- Online platforms provide the contents that are approved by an awarding body that will offer the students the qualifications/ credits to successfully complete a course of study.
- While blended learning may be in house it can also provide digital tools to promote interaction and collaboration among in-house experts/ students. Online discussions, peer feedback, and group projects can take place virtually.
Who you Learn From?
- Students learn from a variety of sources such as education consultants, mentors, facilitators and face-to-face instructors which remain an essential part of the learning process.
- Digital content: Online platforms, such as learning management systems (LMS), provide accredited resources like recorded videos/ lectures, e-books, simulations, and assignments that provide the final assessment for each candidate’s passing criteria.
Real Time Scenario
- It starts from a just thought of exploring and being part of the global education landscape with tons of opportunities but also with lot of questions like “Where do I start?”, “Where will I find all the relevant and trustworthy information to make an informed decision?” and many more.
- Let’s talk about a journey one of our students started few months back with skepticism and lots of questions to be answered that can shape his future. His research and our Marketing efforts helped him to start a conversation with our knowledgeable guidance team.
- Every question raised by the student were answered appropriately by our guidance team for him to make informed decision. Lot of details were fact checked during this conversation like “Legitimacy of the content”, “Team & infrastructure supporting the project”, “diplomacredits.com affiliation”, “Available courses”, “Support available”, “Education Gaps”, “Pricing competition”, “Resources provided”, “Level of In-house guidance”, “Duration of study”, “Credits available”, “University Options”, “Documents provided upon completion”, “Regulatory Body and Issuing authority”, “Advancement Options” and many more after which he finally enrolled. We have a great databank of Q&A that we regularly update with every new information received.
